The Gift

Where once was blush upon the bloom,
Asleep love lies in silent gloom,
To wake anew, on 'morrows gleaming
For now, my joy, you lie a'dreaming
If 'ere a tear, upon thy breast,
Should dare to fall, and there to rest,
I shall kiss that tear away,
Upon that spot, my head I'll lay
And listen to your heart beat, singing,
From bliss; your lips.. my name falls, winging..
T'would be enough to set my heart a'drift,
With cargo, of this most precious gift.
